I can get you a couple good aussie breeders in our area. Show or ranch lines? I can get them to you tomorrow. I need to pass some info to you anyway about some dogs that needs homes.

I suppose Aussies that have correct looks but can also work, lean towards the working lines, how does that Fair Oaks website look.

I know nothing about aussies whatsoever. I do know that working bred aussies are a lot of dog.  I think their dogs are neat looking but that's the extent of my expertise.

I have aussies as well as gsd's.  Tho I don't know Fair Oaks personally, I have heard of them, and their website shows they have some very versatile working dogs for the most part.

My male is out Los Rocosa lines, ( working lines) he really isn't a tough dog to live with.  He's not bouncing off the walls all the time with the "need" to do something, he is a much more serious dog and takes everything pretty seriously.  My female on the other hand, out of a mix of show/working lines, is much more demanding of my time..

Depends on the dog, as with any, not all the working lines are go go go.

As far as the website, looks ok to me, I don't see any mention of her MDR1 testing their breeding stock.

I recommend Joanna Cole in Vegas. Not sure she is still breeding or not but has been in the biz for YEARS. Ive heard she doesnt have the best rep as far as her bedside manner, but I was raised around her and she doesnt pull punches when she talks to you. Or I would recommend Joe Kapalos in WA. He doesnt raise Aussies but is in contact with some good breeders. Many years ago I trained at his place Ewetopia. I wish they had places like that here in Vegas. That would be awesome.
I had a Los Rocosas male that I bought because of the line, to be good working dogs. If I remember right the lines came from Linda Baily (could be wrong so dont shoot me) Thats when I learned that just because the dog comes from working lines doesnt mean the dog can or WANTS to work.  I would go to ASCA website (not akc) and see whose there. Its been years since Ive had them so Im not up on whose who.
