Looking for a vet in the central/Triangle region preferably. I'm trying to find a vet that isn't scared of German Shepherds and won't jump when my dog looks in his/her direction. It's getting a little frustrating, because my dog is NOT aggressive or fearful at the vet. I'm trying to keep it that way, but having someone who talks in a teeny-tiny shakey high pitched voice and literally jumps every time my dog moves...it sends the wrong message.

How close are you to Sanford? Sanford Animal Hospital (Dr. Kathy or Dr. John) are great. She is a Repro Vet and He is great with x-rays. Also wonderful allround Vets.

North Davidson Vet. They are awesome and my vet, Dr. Schmunk deals with many working K9s.
Definately not afraid of them.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the recommendations. I live in Raleigh but I'm willing to drive for quality vet care from vets that aren't scaredy cats ;-)

I live about 30 minutes south of Raleigh and I use Stage Road Animal Hospital in Angier. My girl does have to be muzzled when she goes to the vet because she has tried to eat them in the past, but they are definitely not afraid of her and do not jump and speak in a tiny voice. I think they are great and very reasonably priced. I have been thrown out of vets offices before for her aggression, but never by Stage Rd.
