On several occasions I have edited my replies or post. Some of the time I would note it myself by typing the date and the time that I had edited the post..  Many times I edit and don't even think about noting it myself...so the correction goes without being noted......Today, I edited a reply and didn't think to note it that I had edited it.. Later I came back to the same thread and it was noted that I edited the reply.  I then realized at the bottom of the editing screen there is a section that can be added when making an edit. I had not noticed it before. I am not saying it wasn't there before, but just saying I never noticed it before...

My question is this...has it always noted any editing automatically, and if so, why has it never done it before today on mine. Is this something that was just added... I did correct misspelled words and noticed the edited note was there later. Just curious...

it depends on how quick you edit your post if you do so immediately it doesn't not that you edited anything. However after said time period ( i don't know what it is) all edits will be annotated at the bottom

when I see misspellings I edit my post. Sometimes it notes the edit and sometimes it does not...go figure,,
