I had to put Fany down yesterday due to what the vet thought was cancer. She was in extreme pain and practically paralyzed. I know there are people who knew her and also who have pups out of her and Ozzy and I thought you would like to know. Only 9 1/2--what a loss--especially to me for I have been in love with her since she came to the states 2 yrs ago. Its a tragedy to lose them at any time but especially when they have so many good years left

Thanks guys. I am still in shock because one day she was playuing ball and the next she was not able to move her back end. Then the next day she couldn't move at all and I got her in to my vet ASAP but it was a done deal. I got her as a retired brood bitch and I'm sure thiongs were already happening when I brought her back home...........................

I can only Imagine your grief, non dog people dont know how devastating these losses can be.
At least you can take comfort to know you did all U could for Fany and gave her a great "reitrement"home.

vonissk, how fortunate she was, though, to have been able to spend her last two years with you as a beloved pet instead of a kennel bitch! I am so, so sorry for the renewed grief you're enduring, with Fany's sudden loss coming so closely behind having to let Sadie go in March...
