How very, very sad.

A 2 yr old California boy attacked by 3 Pits that were called "family's pet's" and kept in the family's garage.  While both parents and another child was at home.  The boy later died from his injuries.

Sad to say PIT BULLS were again the cause of this death.  Say what you may but the Pits continue to appear out of control.  Whether its poor breeding, lack of owner control, or just down right crazy.  They continue to get the lion's share when maulings happen.  I'm not talking about DOG BITES, but killings.

And that's precisely where the probelms lie, with the PEOPLE, not the dogs.  When people are held accountable for their actions, or should I say inactions, maybe it would happen less.  Take the "L" out of BSL and that's what it is!

The entire article included the killing of a grown man in another state. ¶I agree that the problem is the human factor. Unfortunately for the breed, there is a certain element drawn to pits to compensate with a "tough" dog, or merely too get attention from association with a "demonized" breed. Those two types seem to be the types that garner the media and internet attention. The attention (positive OR negative) simply feeds the humans' flaws and continues the cycle. How very sad for the breed.

Who would have ever thought 3 dogs who live together in a garage would behave as if they were, well....a pack of dogs????

Huh. Just can't wrap my head around this one.
