Two Moons

by Two Moons on 13 July 2010 - 17:07

I am covered with tick bites, apparently I walked through a nest of seed ticks.
Someone just shoot me.....

I can't sleep, can't wear shoes, or long pants,  sex feels good again tho.
Best way to scratch that itch !!

Hot water is almost like heaven, but the relief only lasts a short while.

Wouldn't wish this on anyone............ well almost anyone.

Itching Moons.

Been there, done that.  A few years ago a dog got out and my friend and I went searching for him.  We went through fields, woods,   private property ahem.  My legs looked like I had some horrible skin disease, and the itching lasted for a looooong time.  I didn't do this, but my brother always said any time you get a tick bite or mosquito bite put rubbing alcohol on it right after you get it.

Sounds like chiggers to me.  We could put you into a drug induced coma :)
Always,
Cee

Drugs YES !!!!
I have already used a whole bottle of alcohol on the bites I have scratched raw.
Some bites cannot be scratched due to their specific location tho.
Thanks for responding you guys, I was running out of threads and my thoughts are leaning towards more scratching.

FFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!

I stay out of the woods this time of year, these were in the yard I think.
Finally found some permonone.

I have what looks like enormous freckles everywhere.

Oh man, Moons, I am SO sorry to hear that!!! My dogs got them recently for the first time and about half a dozen walked on me but didn't bite. I think I've been too pissed off lately to be delicious.

I'm so sorry Moons, that sounds like it truly sucks big time.

From between my toes to the top of my head and everything in between....

At least I'm not alone, my son got them on him too.
They don't seem to bother him the way they do me tho...   I'll be scratching these same bites this time next year.

I haven't seen many dog or deer ticks lately, guess they have moved on after egg laying.

Anyway It's almost time for another hot shower and the alcohol.....  might see if I have any of the drinking kind around here this afternoon.

LOL Suck..., good one Sue! Sorry Moons, had to laugh. Try spreading Benadryl gel on like lotion. Pop a couple Benadryl too. Your in good company, my mom got attacked twice by wasps a couple days ago. Her hand/arm was wrapped up getting iced, she decided to venture out and she got nailed in the foot before she got around the house. They flew right into her sandle. This is when I see living in town as a real advantage. No snakes, ticks, mosquitoes, snakes and fleas are easier to treat with a yard spray.

Aww poor moons

if it makes you feel any better, your not alone in your itchyness.  I have recently started volunteering at a new dog shelter in a town 5 miles away.. It seems I am allergic to the whole town... I've never had a problem with allergies, but every time I go there I develop these SUPER ITCHY hives on my arms and a couple on my neck... all I want to do is burn them under the shower. cold packs also help.  I don't think I have it nearly  as bad as you though.. have you tried taking an antihistimine?

and completely off topic I've been meaning to ask you what does SSDD mean?
