Hey guys,
So little man returned on Monday and his stomach has been off and on since them -probably changing food and then back + the impossible heat!!- and I'd like to add a bit of canned pumpkin to his food to see about firming him back up.
My question is how much would you give a 60-65lb dog? I don't want to go far in the other direction just want to give a bit of tummy support until everything settles back down.

Anywhere from two tablespoons to half a cup...I found that when my dog had problems I usually had to use 1/2 a cup a day to have any effect, but when he was on kibble his stomach was very, very touchy. (Hasn't had any problems since I switched to raw, thank GOD I was getting tired of cleaning up poop.)
Edit: At the time, my dog was 60-65 lbs.

I live in NE and it's not hard to find. Even the rinky dink market in my rinky dink town has it.

yeap, pumpkin can be hard to find. For me, I found it at a Pay n Pak or a store like that carries generic brand pumpkin.
Thank you RLHAR for the link above for pumpkin that will come in handy.
I use anywhere from 2 heaping Tablespoons to a 1/3 can.
Competitions in the heat get to my dog too.
good luck
