1 of my dogs had an accident several months ago no damage to spine, hips or pelvis although now there are some secondary changes in the Patella (knee joint), due to short only lead walks he has also lost all muscle in shoulders, thighs etc.
Currently on Metacam and Synoquin (loading dose), I prefer Cosequin DS as it as worked for him in the past (re elbows)
In the UK it is expensive and normally I purchase from the US in quantity - those in the US where is the cheapest to buy bulk on-line that will post to UK (as even with foreign currency charges and allowing for exchange rate it is far cheaper to import than purchase from UK)
Muscle not a problem, as this can be rectified later once limp subsided.
