Some of you may not know, some of you may,
But Dawn's dog Lexie passed tonight from EPI, Dawn has given her such a great life, It was determined that Lexie had EPI at 1 year of age, by Dawn's Vet in Chicago, she did not send her back to the breeder, she just did the very best she could for her, and she was 11 and some years old. Prayers for Dawn..not many would have done what she did for her dog...Lida

Von den Beaus's Lexie CDX,TC

I was at work and Lexie collapsed at my sister's feet. She was her normal self when I left for work. I got the call from my sister to come home quickly, Lexie was waiting. I got home, and Lexie was alive. She waited for me. My sister and I carried her out to the car, and she died on the way to the Emergency vet.
Gucci, the vet seems to think that at her age, it was her heart. Her last checkup a heart murmur showed up, it was not there previously.
Lexie, you were my friend. Titles were not important to you, I WAS MOST IMPORTANT to
you. Lexie, you lived for me, and whatever we did together, you did because of your love and devotion to me. You are very special, and a once in a lifetime German Shepherd.
Dear God, thank you so much for giving Lexie to me. She has taught me so much! This dog is what a German Shepherd should be.
Rest now my good girl!
I LOVE YOU!
Dawn
Say a little prayer for Laser and Carla. They will be looking for her, and wondering where she is.
