I just received an email back from The SV-HG, and they say and I quote " Winsis is not our product,so we don't know anything about it"

Yvonne Hecht is theUS owner of Win-sis yhecht@kc.rr.com Very good system and accurate. I know plenty of people that use it!

WinSiS never claimed to be "SV product". WinSiS is the most accurate database out there, I use it and have used it for more 13+ years now. It was called BSI when I started with it.

I am mostly referring to the fact that many dogs are missing..Vegas, for example, has probably 10x times over the number of offspring than what is listed..
I always use WINSIS to verify info, but recently looking for some dogs and couldn't find them listed.
It's a great system for the buyer to corroborate what the seller is saying, because the SV won't tell you anything about a dog until you own the dog, so if you don't find the dog on WINSIS, you have to pay for the dog, to then find out that the seller misrepresented the dog...this has happened to a lot of people...Even for matings, the seller says they mated the female, but she didn't take..then you look in WINSIS and the mating never happened or the seller states WINSIS is inaccurate.
WINSIS is great and free...just hope the SV comes up with something similar so buyers can verify info BEFORE they get burned.....ME , I will never buy a dog through the internet as there are many people running scams and missrepresenting their dogs..I guess I'll just go to Germany every year or so
