Hi
today i drove to the west side of Belgium to enter Izzy in a Show Class to try for a G rating
She was in the 12 months to 18 month class she being 13 months old now
Going around the Ring after the Show pose Stack and Teeth bit and Tatoo done she was not going too badly when the dog in front turned around, Izzy did not take too kindly on her doing that so she nipped the Showline on the Butt
She settled down again but i thought she messed it up However she got a G rating so not too bad
The three dogs in front of her were Showlines and then she was the best of 5 working line Dogs, So that bit over we now go for the BH and UV in September when she will be old enough seeing she has not done a lot of the showing bit i thought she did okay, Thanks to David Payne for the tips in the bit of training running around the Ring before hand we gave her

hI Steve
Showing dogs in a sieger show,is a young mans game.
Two weeks ago in the Ontario Regional sieger show at the Durham Shutzhund club,I showed my two dogs, one in the 9-12 class, and the other in the 2 and over non working class. I also ran for a friends dog.
Let me tell you, that is to much work for a 67 year old man.
My young male went VP1, the other male went SG3. I just put a BH on the 2 year old last month.
Would post the pictures of the 2 dogs at the show but,I dont know how.
In the 2 year old class the judge asked me if I thought that I could contineuw,I replied yes,my wife said no. I did make it to the end. I will not do it again.
P.S Steve, This fellow from Holland showed my dogs a couple of times, when he was in ONT.visiting a few years back.
I believe his name was Jouke Faber, from Jabora kennels in Holland. Is the Kennel still there? Havent been able to get hold of him for a couple of years now.

Congratulations Steve and Izzy ----- I hope you have some photos coming.
Well done gouda also. That sounded like an awful lot of work for day but the rewards are fantastic.

Congrats Gouda that is a lot of work in one day, This show was right on the coast of Belgium we are the far side of Belgium it is not so much the distance but where the Show was being held in the Biggest Holiday resort in Belgium and the Holiday traffic gets blocked up from Brussels onwards, so we got away a little after 4.O'Clock in the morning to try and get a clear run It turned out okay coming back was longer but well worth the trip, I will never get into the Show line side of the Dogs but i do appreciate the work and effort the Show people put in no less than the working side and it was good to see them really putting the effort in they were dedicated people,
I was talking to one old Guy well my age i think and he said that they too have to do the Working side up to a degree the same as we do on the Show side with the Working Dogs, yes i said you do so we all have to learn new things
Sorry Guys, not one Pic is there to be seen we had covered 100 miles when i realized i had left the Camera on the table in the Living Room, I cursed but could do nothing about it
