Well... it's hard to know given merely the pedigree and not the situation...

It could be: a close breeding to cement in some very desirable traits of the sire into the lines. Perhaps it was an experiment. Maybe it was an accident. I don't know the kennel or breeding program, so I refrain from comment on that.

2-2s are not uncommon in the AKC (et other) conformation circuit, and occuring somewhat more often in certain german breedings as well. The only reason to do such a breeding is if the dog in question has some outstanding characteristics that are worth heavily pushing into a line. I'm not sure that's the case here, looking at the male's accomplishments, but again, it's not my program or decision.

Yes, it's important to cement in the traits of generations of dogs that have attained nothing more than a CGC

Ive met the sire, Limonite...he is a very nice dog.  I dont know anything about the breeding though.

CGC is not even a title.  It's an "award."  For godsake a 4 month old puppy can get a CGC award.  I would not put that on a pedigree, it's not a title.

i have heard of this breeder , but not anything good.
i would never breed a half brother and sister together, thats just crazy
