Absolutely agree! In fact, the fittest and most resourceful amongst us typically have fewer offspring than the least fit and least resourceful. Aren't we a clever species; we've outsmarted evolution (which the latter group doesn't believe in anyway).

A little background on how this subject comes up... We were talking about if you had a serious genetic condition, would you pass it on to your child? Not just bad eyesight, I'm talking a life-altering condition. Of course us in the dog world have our feelings when it comes to dog breeding, but how much of those thoughts pass into our views on humans? Is it totally separate thoughts?

This woman came up, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1226443/Worlds-smallest-mother-risk-giving-birth-time.html It's a woman who has passed on serious medical condition to her own daughter, risked her own life to have kids, and went against medical advice to have 3 children. She was congratulated and people say don't judge her, but it's kind of hard for me to not judge that as wrong, maybe I'm too judgemental.
