Although the cost of Insurance in the UK is expensive, I rather hope I am wasting my money and not need any Vet Services, but with their fees being so high, it gives me peace of mind that they are covered.

It's a sham as far as I'm concerned.

I see it as the lesser of the two 'evils' having the Insurance.

My Vet tries to sell me that crap.
It is not the lesser of two evils..... it is the root of evil it's self.
Do you really spend that much at the Vet?
Poor dogs.

i only have insurance for my dog biting (incase something happens and my dogs bite to protect) not vet bills my dogs are rarely at the vets so no need for that one

Even considered putting the money aside and saving it instead, for 'just in case', but with the costs involved at a Vet, whatever was saved, would be gulped like an alligator and have Oliver asking for "MORE"!
Not an easy choice, which is why I asked what others think or do?

Just look at what has happened to human health care.
It's obscene.

Knowing my dogs are healthy is great.
Knowing I have 3rd Party and Medical Cover for anything that I clearly cannot anticipate is peace of mind.
