As this show is in reasonable driving distance from me, I am thinking about entering my young male (16 months then). But here is my question first: Do you have to be a member of WDA or WDA-GSDCA to enter?
I tried to read trough the rules/regulations at the WDA website, yet after an hour or so I am about to fall asleep....sigh. I had entered him at the Southeast Regionals in Statesville and I didnt have to be a member there, but I understand that the big shows can differ in that being a requirement?

This is what I received from Joy a few months ago:
"At this time WDA membership is not required to enter club or Regional trials and shows. You must be to enter National events. All American-born dogs must have tattoo or microchip certified 4-gen pedigree by one year of age. We accept USA's certification. "
ETA: Clarification - that's WDA member. I am not a member of GSDCA.

Please invite the resident troll, so it can finally at least see a show and, maybe, be educated a wee bit. :-)

Dr. Lauber is also a very good judge I have shown under him last October at the OG Carolina Show.
Very nice man, good english skills, and more importantly a very correct judge. Dr. Lauber and Herr Mai
are SV judges. This is important as they are not beholding to the WDA, unlike UScA judge group.

No thanks Mystere, all the Pepto in the world wouldn't get me through THAT weekend!
I hope to go. God willing, our girl is titled and finances allow me to make the trip with her my pup.
Does WDA offer performance awards as well?

I'll be there. I probably will not show my male because he is not yet titled and turns 2 in Sept., plus our club is planning a trial for the next weekend and I would wait to title him so that we have plenty of entries.

Good Luck at the show. Hope it is not too hot and humid--nice 60s with periods of partly cloudy.
