Oh no, he was one of my favorites! I hadn't heard he was sick but I just read that he died of cancer. He was 74. BUMMER!

RIP Dennis Hooper. Fine actor indeed in an unconventional way. Drugs and alcohol was the bane of his life yet those were his blessings I often see in his fine acting.
