So I'm curious, as to who on here, or if anyone knows of others who own offspring out of Puck Grafental. How are they turning out? How are their drives? temperament? working ability? structure? I'm looking at all potential options, and going to just keep looking at what else is out there. Before I had considered going ahead and getting a puppy, I think I'll wait until the end of the year. I have a Husky who still has a lot of growing up to do, and I'd like to get a little more training done on my male also before I jump into another pup. Besides I'm not in a rush for anything.
Anyway I'm also wondering, which DDR dogs, or lines are producing the best dogs. I know not many DDR dogs are going to be top level competitors by any means.
And Iltis von der Wildsau.....does anyone know of any breeders who are having litters through his offspring? I've personally seen some very nice dogs, that he has been the grand sire of. Typically they were from a DDR/Czech combo, Tons of drive, confident, and great temperaments. I have never met any of his offspring out of him being bred to a DDR female. I'm not really sure who breeds his lines though, other than one or two people, and I did not like the other dogs they were breeding.

Otherwise I understand when female-owners are asking these questions. Normally they know about the qualities/faults from their females and if they really wants to breed quality and not only for money they will have attention about the "plus and minus" by the stud-male.
For excample: In Germany is a TOP workingline-male, produced over 500 pups, some excellent, some normal, some garbage. But when you look closer in the pedigrees from Dam and Sire you can see that the chance (in a special line-breeding) is very high to get pups with elbow- and teeth-problems. Not to talk about coats!

Iltis stuff seems to be very drivey and nice dogs. Not so much his direct sons and daughters but when he is in 2nd and 3rd generation they seem to be very nice.
