I use quite a bit of food for training and am tired of having to buy it all the time. Plus the less expensive it is the more questionable ingredients there are. I just put a batch in the oven, I just made up the recipe.
Hopefully my dogs like it, here it is
1 pound ground lamb
2 cups ground rice
3 eggs
1 tbs garlic salt
1 pack knox gelatin
I flattened it out like a giant pancake on a cookie sheet and am baking it like a flat meat loaf at 350 (its been in for about 15 mins). Hopefully it dries out well then I can cut it up in to nice little bite size pieces. My dogs love the Natural Balance food rolls so that is kinda sorta what I was going for with this but only a sheet version not a roll....
Any other good recopies or suggestions?

I take the easy route,
I still buy treats, I like em too.
Killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
A lot less work for my lazy streak.

It looks like a recipe dogs would love, but I don't give my dogs any grain at all. I just get a nice beef roast on sale, roast it and cut it up into bite sized pieces. I divide it up into to "training session sized portions", put it into baggies and freeze. Defrost as needed.

Lamb liver treats
I simmer the liver with crushed garlic until it is cook through slowly. Then drained and placed in the oven to slow cook to dry out any moisture. Whilst hot and pliable, I cut into size and leave it to cool. Place them in an airtight container in the fridge. This can keep for a week.
Use sparingly as treats otherwise they poop alot
