Hello,
Ok here I am thinking about getting a workingline pup.I have a buddy who goes to shutzhund club works his dogs and he has been after me to getting working dog.Well about 4 yrs ago I bought a female pup czech/ddr and a bad dealing.I'm sure some of you remember my bulletin I got the pup from Peggysue Walker bad choice.
Now I'm curious which lines you people are impressed with ddr or czech or ddr/czech.
I want a female with good drive and solid nerves.
And what age should the pup be which probally  would be shipped to me.Don't get me wrong i know they have to be aleast 8 wks old I would like to know a good age to ship a pup.
And I have had shepherds for the past 20 yrs my first was working lines the parents were cygan von der zitadellenburg and Hatifa V Zinnowitzer strand. Never work her she didn't have it in her she was tested.Good ppd they said and i tell you I could get her to do anything crazy ball drive.
I have checked out a imported ddr pup but I thought abit pricey.
When my buddy started shutzhund he had a ddr male nothing better than a ddr he said since he lost his male and he just purchased a czech dog.
I just want to know lines if you even know of a trusty breeder and you don't want to post you can im me.

czeck/ddr/american/wl/  what ever - you need to pick a puppy- everybody on this board can say they like this dog and that dog - but it boils down to the puppy really.....  who ever you talk to will have their favorite....you talk about "shipping" so it is already determined you are getting from "across" seas.  are you in "USA?  there are alot of dogs already in the usa that you can get a puppy from ---from great bloodlines...why would you want to import?

You have to decide what you like and what you are looking for in a puppy - sometimes it even boils down to geography..... each has great traits - and each have their short comings - you have to weigh the options of each and not let this board decide for you.....decide what you like from each , decide what you don't like, what you want it to do, and then figure out what you can "afford"....that might be the factor- but sometimes there is a jewel  in a breeding that you might not even know the bloodline....

Just my opinion.

Kim Haggerly (SP) just had a litter of 9;  5 females, 4 boys, Tika X Rookie;  absolutely love Rookie;  all DDR;  Kim@justK9's.com)  Also contact Jackie at Vom Marischal has a litter a bit older than Kim's;  maybe 7 weeks now.  I believe has  some still available.  mama dog whelped 10 puppies instead of the expected 5/6 so has 1 maybe 2 that might be available.  Good luck with  your search.  Nan
