Does anyone know what the cover will be for tracking at the nationals in Reno in November? I heard it would be a plowed field but I'm not sure and the club contact person on the website never returned my email.

If memory serves me correctly, it will be snow, lots and lots of snow.

When I competed out there back in 1999 it was a big plowed field although it was like tracking on 6" of dry moon dust ..... the weather was mild 50's in the day. Hope this helps ............. if it is the same field the farmer had to work up the field after the days trackingfor the next day of tracking ......... cause it was the only field for the Championship.
