Can anyone tell me the procedure for registering a pink papered dog? I was given the dogs SV (pink papers) and a letter stating dog was sold to me. All the info on the SV papers is in german and I don't know what to do with it now. Please help.

Go to www.akc.org and download a forgeign dog registration application. All the instructions are on it. :)

Go to AKC's site and get a foreign registration application. Take 2 pics of your dog, one from the front and one from the side and make color COPIES of the German paper work. NEVER send the originals to AKC eventhough is says to, DON'T.
Fill out the foreign registration app and send in all the stuff with your money. When you send it in wait till you get the AKC registration back and then do your DNA kit that you get from AKC.

I have to send out the SV papers first? Is there a place I am supposed to put my information on the forms or what? Im so confused with this.

Did you download the form? It's really pretty easy to fill out.

If the letter you have is the Beschein....can't spell it......sorry. Then you don't need to do anything further with the pink papers.

Okay so I have the pink papers, they do not seem to show an owner, the guy i got him from signed and dated the back page. Akc states that the foriegn registry must show the same ownership as the application bieng sent in for foriegn registration. So if no ownership is specified or my name is not on the papers, how do I go about getting this done?

I think all AKC cares about is the Bescheinigung which comes from the SV and states that you are the owner of said dog. If you really want the Pink Papers to reflect your name then I would tell you to call Sabine at the SV in Germany, she speaks very good english and she can advise you further on what to do.
