Not GSD related, but needs your vote anyways:
Newton Marshall, the first Jamaican dog sledder to take part in - and complete the Iditarod dog sled race in 2010, Alaska.
An amazing feat.

This incredible shot taken by professional photographer of New Zealand says it all. Chris has entered it in the National Geographic Great Outdoors Photo contest. A vote for Chris is a vote for Newton....... What a photo!!!

Two Moons,
your comment is the sad embodiement of what this site has become, is now.
Pfui!
Your probabable excuse that it was meant as humour would only underscore that.
Pfui again!
If you were a mere fraction of what Newton is, you could consider yourself extremely fortunate. He is a beautiful human being, has a very special connection with animals, especially dogs. He is high on life, and it shows in everything he does.
Mush mon, mush!!!
Try running the Idotarod, being out there for 12+ days, when you are only 26, did not know much about mushing til 4 years ago or so, had never seen snow before and thought a cold day in Alaska was about the same as a cold and rainy day in Jamaica, and let pure enthusiasm and your good spirit carry you all the way.

That is a wonderful picture!!! Love the eyes with the snow. I was going to move to Alaska or Canada to be an aprentice to a team that does sled dog racing till they told me how cold it would be most of the time and that i wouldn't have time with my dogs.I opted out. A bit too cold for my blood.
I voted and posted it on FB
