OMG Thats horrible. Happy to hear your friends pup is ok. People are stupid an ignorant now a days. thats why no matter how well my dogs are trained I always keep them on leash. You never know when they will see something and go after it.

Your friend and pup are in my best of wishes

That's terrible!  Why would you have any dog off lead?  Makes no good sense.  Hope the pup is okay, both physically and emotionally.  That can do some emotional damage, especially at that age.

A staffi and no leash at a day care for children, the owner needs an e collar put on her.

Praise the Lord no people were bitten.

I hope the pup will be fine and the Pit   (Yes, I am prejudiced a Staffie by any other name is a Pit) Maybe the owner will learn a lesson and step up and pay the vet bill and keep this DOG AGGRESSIVE BREED on a muzzle when around other dogs I don't care what Cesar Milan says about - I know the breed, I've seen the breed, put on TV but get them off the streets.

As the old adage goes "First bites free" NOW COMES MUZZLE  if not he WILL do it again.

Good Luck,
TUFF

That is horrible!  I know that is what everyone else said, I just can't think of a more descriptive word.

Oh, I'd be sooooo angry if that was my puppy.   I'd probably have an aneurysm.

Ditto what 1doggie2 said.
