I have read black nails and a black strip down the back will be a dark sable. I have also read that a ring around the eyes will be a dark sable. Can anyone tell me from there experience what to look for on pups to tell how dark they will get as adults? I have posted some pictures these pups are 1 week old today. Thanks

Normally they eventually return to approx. the same color/shade as they are when they are newborn - 1 week old.

Crazyhorse, I think it's pretty safe to say they will be dark sables.
