I wonder if Oli could give control of a post over to the original poster?? we could patrol our own post,s and probably keep them more on track? I,m no great programing wiz so I don,t klnow if it would be possible?.

Heres an interesting idea.
Why don't we learn to control ourselves and not try to control everyone else.
These unwanted threads would go away if no one posted to them in the first place.
If people want to post on these threads then they will continue.
Simple.
I should have known better than to even open one of them up.
Why would Oli give anyone control period.

I have wondered the same thing- but i thought about it and it seems the board would end up empty. because the 1st person who disaggreed-debated-argued-or said anything beyond how great the OP was it would get deleted. Also the people whom are in quetion would in return create there own thread so they would be in control. You know what i mean. It is a good idea but still not beyond abuse!!

Yes it is possible but then you are allowing trolls, racists and abusers to control their own threads.
When all the politics was flying around here I heard over and over how if you don't want to read it, then don't click but you have those same people complaining here doing absolutely nothing but complaining about a post they choose to read. If you don't want to know what sex offender lives in your neighborhood don't look at sites that have that info. I think animal abuse needs to be dealt with and not pushed over in the corner cause it looks ugly. That is like saying I know grandpa touched my kids but to not cause problems lets just look the other way.
