Hello Steve,
Thankfully back to some good TOPICS.
Mike Diehl has already qualified with his dog Erri z Blatenskeho Zamku after winning the 2009 UScA nationals this past November. This coming weekend UScA is holding the USA Working Dog Championship near Columbus, Ohio. This trial will also help to determine who will be on the WUSV team. Then on May 7,8,&9 the GSDCA-WDA will be holding their national championship. That trial will determine the dogs competing from that organization.
In about a month we will know who is on the U.S. team.
It is a bit confusing because the U.S. WUSV team is comprised of dog/handler teams from two seperate organizations.
Best wishes,
--Steve

Steve,

Clarification to the above information posted.

In the USA, there are 3 WUSV qualification trials for the 2010 team:

1. USA Nationals Nov 2009
2. WDC April 2010
3. AWDF May 2010

Both the winner of the USA Nationals and the WDC qualifier have to go to another WUSV qualifier and obtain a qualifying score of 270.

So, the final teams will not be posted until approx June.

Yes, SKI is correct.
I was afraid that if I got too detailed it was only going to get more confusing.
Best of luck to all the competitors who have worked so hard to get to these events!

I believe that won't be known until the BSP later this year.

Nothing about the UK side of the sport, are they not having any Trials this year, No one seems to be interested in saying one way or the other, So i guess there is nothing from the UK going to Sevilla, Okay it did not go great last year, but this is another year different Handlers different Dogs maybe may get through, If you do not have a go then you cannot do anything
