I have just collected my 8 week old working line male puppy who weighs 10lbs and seems small to what I would image he should be. The whole litter was small with our boy slightly larger than the others and I am looking for an opinion regarding
puppy weight from anyone experienced in expected weights of puppies. Thanks in advance.

got my new puppy on 10th MARCH he was 7weeks old and a little less than 8lbs, last week at 12.5 weeks he was 17 lbs.

That weight does not sound too small for eight weeks, depends on the lines and what you expected from them.
It's better to look at body mass than a scale.

At 8 weeks 1 day my pups weighd 23.5# and 24.5 pounds (they are both pretty larged boned though).  10 pounds at 8 weeks seems pretty small, that's more like the size of a 5-6 week old puppy.

I read some puppy weight information that around 20lbs double my puppy's weight is more what is expected at 8 weeks. His mother is 75lbs and father 92lbs and are reasonably large dogs. I am interested to know if anyone else had small puppies how they grew out as adults in size???. It's almost as if they are 2 weeks behind expected growth although I know they are definitely 8 weeks old.

At eight weeks a German Shepherd puppy in my opinion should weigh around 15 pounds.
They should be gaining a pound per week.
Depending on the lines.
Do not let puppies get too fat, just make sure they are growing and active.
There is no set rule here, each will be different within boundaries.

The next few weeks are up to you, feed correctly and keep them active.
You will see them change but it will take time, six months, one year, and two years, are bench marks.
And since it is a boy, three years to become fully physically and mentally mature.

TODAY THE DINKLETS ARE EXACTLY 7 WKS OLD. THEY ARE THICK AND FAST AND WILD. MY SIFU HAS THEM ON THE PERFECT DIET ALONG WITH MAMAS MILK. TODAY THEY EACH WEIGH 14 LBS. THIS WT IS BEFORE DOUBLE DOWNS. AFTER 7 PM TONIGHT EACH PUP WILL BE A POUND HEAVIER. FIRST PIC IS PEBBLES AND THEN BAMBAM WITH THE ONE UP ONE DOWN SYNDROME.

My pup was around that weight too Roxy.  He was from a large litter, and maybe just didn't get as much to eat as some pups.

His sire  is 90lbs.

As of now, I don't think he'll get as big or heavy but time will tell.  He is 8 months.
