Be careful with using "doggy" bitches for breeding. Some of them have hormone imbalances.. which is why they develop and look like males. They have been known to be poor mothers, sometimes even killing their pups. I had a doggy bitch out of Arminius / Wienerau lines a long time ago, and this is what happened with her.
I know what you are thinking.. You think you'll produce awesome big males from this doggy bitch. But, it's genetics from the family that control this.. If you don't know the pedigrees, and what lines to look for, you will be taking your chances at the roulette table. I know which lines to produce what you want, but they are extremely rare, now.
I had a DDR dog with one of the biggest heads anyone has ever seen, I guarantee you. He was famous for that. His mother was a little bitty thing.. but, she had the right genetics to produce his type, and was crossed to the right male. Voila! Even so, my dog did not consistently produce this quality. Maybe one in ten pups was anywhere near so impressive. You might get lucky.. but you have better odds if you know what you're doing..
Generally speaking, males develop to look like males (secondary sex characteristics, like bigger heads) because of the influence of testosterone. If your bitch has a hormone imbalance, she may come out looking like a male, but she won't produce bigger pups because of it. If it isn't in her genetic makeup to produce what you want, you won't get it.

LOL "I know what your thinking..."
No you don't, your assuming. They said they are looking for this dog to purchase, not produce litters. We all have the types, colors, temperaments we prefer.

I agree.I see nothing wrong with asking.Elknook should not insult the person just for asking.
you could have explained this is a fault if you intended to breed. I guess someone has ESP.

I think by short snout, they probably meant, a square snout with somewhat of a stop.
Some dogs look like they have a collie nose. I prefer a more squarer snout.
Sometimes it helps to show a picture of what you prefer. It eliminates all the assumptions.

Trust me.. I've seen this, before. I'd bet money that they want to breed. Which is OK.. isn't it? I'm just saying that they're full of crap if they think they'll get big males out of it. Now, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.. Maybe they want a vanity dog for their yard. The thing with dogs is, it's really hard to pick and choose. That's one of the reasons I got into breeding in the first place.. because it was hard to find the kind of dog I really wanted. Still, you have to breed a lot of dogs to get that one that really tickles your fancy. Now, with the internet, you can find the dog you want if you are willing to wait and look and hang onto your money.
One of the really big misconceptions about DDR dogs was always that they were these great big things.. Some of them are small and slender! You have to know the bloodlines and who to buy from and even then, it's a crapshoot.
I guess if I could just place an order for a certain kind of dog, it would be cheaper and a lot easier than trying to breed it. If they can find that dog and it's really what they're looking for, it would be a good thing for them. I know in times past this was hardly possible, without maybe traveling to a lot of kennels, looking.

I think it will be OK as long as she gives her dogs food and water.

Most DDR dog litters had a gambit of size in them. The females for the most part where smaller than West German females and the males larger and bigger in bone and head with wider more powerful jaws. Not like the DDR lines you see today. These dogs didn't have the long ears you see today either. To get a large bitch from DDR lines is not as easy as from West lines. Males yes, not taller just more masculine looking and much more pronounced secondary sex characteristics than other lines. Good luck I have a friend Evan In Australia who has frozen seaman from some great DDR dogs available (not the Forrell guy , he is not in anyway associated with that dude) maybe away to make you own if you can find a bitch here to use it on.
