Wpool, I would contact a customs broker who deals with pets. To many things now days to go wrong. Also, you can get info off the AKC site on international shipping, or goggle ship pet to India.

Do the people of India a favour and don't send a pup. I think they have more than enough crap breeders of their own. Do these people know your history of dog dealing, and transporting? AMELIA COMES TO MIND!!! And that other young show line male that you posted here never to be heard of again??? I do hope the potential buyer has checked everything thoroughly and know it could be a long long haul!!!!!!

Not to be prejudice or anything, but why on earth would you want to sell a dog to someone in India? I know not all homes would be bad, but have you ever seen the for sale ads of dogs from India on here? Not all of them look like they have the best places to live or look to be in the best condition.

It is about money....nothing else. Who cares what how the dogs live in such countries? If you can get some big bucks pulling scams and selling dogs who are not going to make it elsewhere, then some will do it, including some of the German breeders and judges who are responsible for populating such countries with dogs who are not correct in temperament or structure, let alone working ability. How else can one get top dollar for a dog who does not exactly meet the standard?
