Out of V/SG or excellent structured AND WORKING TITLED parents (good shoulder, hips, elbows for jumping). Need a confident, social female pup wanted for HIGH level obedience, possibly agility and tracking. Not likely to do protection, so don't need that sort of dominance but do need confidence, energy, biddabilty without avoidance and intelligence. Natural retriever & carrying by seven weeks. Medium or even medium small; short bodied scores higher in all-breed comp, so that's the preference, but not key.
Late spring, early summer of 2010 is perfect.
I am training my wife to raise her training goals and this will be her dog. I expect that she will take her into the top 10 in the US in AKC obedience, but want german bloodlines. We plan to take the pup through OB3, as well. I have the credentials, and my wife is smart; now I need the dog. I am a very soft trainer and virtually never use any harsh corrections -- I have play trained to the top tier in OB before and expect to do it again. Took a dog very high in rankings on a roll collar only. My wife is softer than I, so a dominant alligator is not right -- but everything else that usually comes in that package is.
My wife is a distance runner who also wants a dog who can run with her -- think AD once a week or more! -- so superb structure is key, and long coats are probably out. Stock coat or long stock coat ok. I have told her the right Mal may be better for her running and OB plans, but she is insisting on a gsd. My fear is that she falls for one puppy pic every week so I need to pick the right pup for her OB plans.
If you want an active, loving, PEACEFUL, spoiled, indoor home for one of your girls, and you have a well structured breeding with V or high SG scores in OB, we can provide the right home for a female pup you think may not do protection at the top sport level but is otherwise smart, confident, driven, energetic, and biddable. PM me if you have thoughts, thanks!
