I am sorry to say but that is a black long coat German Shepherd puppy- The picture where she is sitting by the door is OBVIOUSLY Streched to make her face look long- some one got crazy with the pixel setter thingie- She is a totaly diffrent dog in the other pictures. She has a tiny face possibly because she was the smaller one in the litter ( runty) and at this age ALL Gsds are going to have there ears up and down and they are going to look goofy when they are young 4-7 month olds.
We have a pure Black Long coat born out of our Super light female ( germ/American show ) and by a Bi-color pure German dog. In the litter there was 11 puppies, 5 of which where PURE black, the one female black was a long coat.
Ebony at 4 weeks old & 7 weeks old (litter Owned by Suzanne of Sierra K9 )
.jpg)
This is Ebony as a 7 month old with her brother, The pictures are from a cell phone so they are a little warped and weird, but she was a beautiful compact and correct puppy. She always had a smaller femine head. They where pretty drivey- compared to the litter mate that I keep Moxie ( a Black and Tan) whom is very calm and does not play ball or tug at all.
When you have only breed ONE litter with the 2 parents - who is to say what quality your going to get consistantly- as there is no consistant trys ? Just because my light bitch only produced black and tan puppies before does not mean with a diffrent dog she can't produce black - or sable with the right dog ( even if there is no black or sable in the bitches background for over 7+ generations). Not to mention there are NO long coats in either dogs pedigrees- its something that just pop's up.

LIKE I SAID:
I have met Vickie. Many of us know her from her long time participation on this board. She has always been an honest person and a straight shooter. She loves her dogs and has always taken good care of the dogs in her possession. I think Vickie, you should let this thread die. Don't let this turn into one of those caustic back & forth vendetta threads. You have said everything that needs to be said.

Our GSD's LOVE the water - pool water, muddy river water, salt water, even smelly swamp water.... It's really hard to keep them out of it, and too keep our tile floors dry.....
Tazer is a full blood GSD and she has a very fine face and lots of hair http://rallhaus.com/TazerzEurosportu.aspx
I'm sure the owner of the stud keeps good records and would know if the dam was bred to him.
A dog liking water or not has little to do with breed.

Kimmelot,
the pictures you refer to are 3 different pups. one with leash on has 2 views. And they are longcoated 1/2 German shepherds.
Vickie, You know that I joined and kept membership up in DVG as you had suggested. And it is usual and customary for
the owner/co-owner, handler to be listed on the score results in the trials. Several in your club thought you owned Darko and never knew anyone else did. thats all I can tell you.
Also, You can put down whatever meds I sent to you as old and no good, you know differently. I can't help that you never let me know they were ill until after the fact.
Sueincc.
I know Vickie has been along time board member, and you don't know me at all. You met Vickie once, I knew her for 2 years before all this bad stuff, I too thought she was nice and knew something and we could work things out. Its nice to see that someone takes up for someone else, even if they don't know them.
The point of this Thread is about being able to trust the one you do business with or will that type of thing ruin the trust of those buying or doing business with other breeders. There are other threads that put out alarms on mis-dealings and scammers. this one may go into more detail, but it is essentially the same. Deal at your own risk and be sure to post what happens.

Gee I thought the "point" of this thread was to ask whether or not the pups in the pictures looked to be purebred or not - silly me. There is NOTHING to be gained by this thread. All we have here are some pictures. No paperwork, no proof, no nothing. Nothing but an anonymous poster trying to discredit a breeder. PDB at it's worst.
Moral of the story: If you want to avoid "misunderstandings" first get everything in writing, always have signed contracts. Don't do anyone any favors, it might come back to bite you in the ass!

this threads been going on since Dec. so how about some updated pics of these pups! did the ears ever stand? did the owner ever help the ears to stand?

Sueincc,
there is just as much point to this thread as to any other you post on. The dogs are cross breds and we know it.
Sorry I don't have any pictures now to share with you as the owner put them in a shelter to be adopted out. The last they told me was one pup had 1 ear that stood.
I guess you would consider buying these pups as purbreds? It was already stated above that the Bitch Quark was someplace else while in heat so how do you get paperwork on that sire?
The moral of the Story is " Trust NO one" no matter how long you have known them.
get signed contracts, (we had contract) which usually doesn't amount to a hill of beans and costs more for the victim to try and get whats owed to them, than what they will ever get back. It is best to just post publically what has happened to them and hope it helps keep it from happening to others.. 1st time buyers or Pros.

Now I'm confused who said there was no point to the thread? What I did say was this is PDB at it's worst, meaning people can come here and slander someone with nothing to back it up.
Look, you can't expect people to believe you over Vickie when all you come here with are a couple of crappy pictures and some accusations. Vickie wrote an explanation for her side of this story. You say it's not true, but you have nothing to back up your version of events either. She said / She said, which doesn't add up to a hill of beans. document document document - words to live by! Chalk it up to always get everything in writing, and yes, I sure do get everything in writing, and not because I am worried about law suits, but because this way there is no misunderstanding what is expected of either party.
