Despite his condition, he's bright, happy, alert and playing. He loves to play with a kong bone and ball, and loves to bury his toy under his blankets and then shred them into millions of pieces looking for the toy <sigh> - I'll have to make a trip out to salvation army or thrift stores soon to get more blankets, as having Mr. Bony-butt on drydeck with no blankets won't be happening anytime soon.
The results of his EPI test did come in - 1.7. So he does have EPI. Hopefully the parasite test will also come back shortly. He's eating 3.5 cups of good-quality kibble and canned food, 4 times/day with added enzymes and probiotics and a little Tilan Powder. I hope to see a significant weight gain soon. The first difference I have seen is his poop, which was previously yellow and pasty - is now more normal.

It's good to hear he's doing well. Sorry to see the result on the EPI, but that is usually treatable with the right enzymes, as you know. His previous owner was probably unaware he had it (or maybe not, maybe that's why she gave him up) and that could easily account for his being so thin. Poor boy. Good for you on getting him correctly diagnosed and healthy again.
