I'm seeing 5.. and can I ask a question to the op, You say your female has about 5 days to go in her pregnancy, with a smaller size litter ( we think! ;-) ) about when did you see a change in her belly? I am asking as my female is hopefully due May 28th -30th and her belly is just a tad bit bigger so I am thinking she might just have a small litter or she might not have taken. Sorry to go off topic!! Thanks and good luck with your litter!

The bitches temp dropped to 98.8 F this morning. Soon we will know how many puppies!
gsdland I saw a pronounced change in her belly around 6 weeks pregnant.

She emailed me. It was not a happy time for her. There were 4, two dead at birth, one dead a week later. She tried SO hard, but sometimes mother nature can be a nasty piece of work. HOWEVER, they do have one big fat happy girl.

So sorry to hear that... I am glad they have one to keep them busy and I am sure she will be spoiled rotten.
