Steve, I agree with your post wholeheartedly. I do not put Sch down and am currently training my dog to get his titles. I think Sch ob gives a dog an excellent foundation for whatever else you want to do with your dog. I am member of SDA club which uses full suits to test dogs, but at the end of the day it is good that people work their dogs in whichever venue their dog enjoys.

Carly is a 4 year old female, top of the line BYB dog. 
She plays fetch, likes to ride in the truck, keeps the yard clear of cats and squirrels and keeps me company.
We go for walks, sometimes if I am having health problems, I borrow my hubbys power chair and take her for a long spin
around town. She has a backpack and helps carry stuff home from the store.
