Moons - I'd go with pink nail polish, so as not to clash with the Calamine lotion.

by gucci on 13 July 2010 - 23:07

Moons,  My husband used to be a line-man for swbt, years ago,  when they would go in the wilderness to wreck out old lines he would get cover in chiggers,   He used to scratch them raw,  then use my hair-spray on them,  seems to seal them off..Hope it helps , worth a try.  Luck...Lida

As a kid, I used to believe that chiggers were under the skin too, but they aren't. So, anything used to try and kill them by "suffocation" isn't going to work.

The acid in urine will bring relief to jellyfish and fire coral stings.  Vinegar works just as well but urine will do when you have none, and it's free!  LOL

Moons, hope the itching goes away, gotta be miserable.  Alcohol, lots of alcohol, inside and out.  LOL.
