Well, those five little puppies you mention were three days old, so yes, they were inside, but at any rate, they were also taken by the "humane" workers, and I saw the last one alive in their filthy, disease ridden impound facility in a four by four foot kennel, damp, dirty floor.. puppies very stunted for lack of food. Veterinarian testified that they were being fed cafeteria style ("free fed") from a hopper type feeder, about eighteen inches off the ground, with cheap, dry Purina dog food in it.. large chunks about the size of a table grape. How is a weaning puppy expected to eat that, much less reach it? The mother was carrying the next to the last pup in her mouth, frantically pacing the kennel and looking at me, like, "Get me out of here". The pup she was carrying was almost dead. She just went around and around, carrying that pup, while the one stunted pup still alive just watched her, bewildered.
Mother was given a tiny blue plaster mixing tray with a hand towel in it. The towel was orange. It was no way big enough for all of them and the floor was damp and dirty, full of bacteria and coccidia, no doubt. Those pups were doomed from the time the "humane officers" got them. All died. Shameful day for law enforcement.. This was a litter I had planned for four years, and hoped to kick off a program to produce occasional donations for law enforcement. They don't need any help from the public. They do quite well for themselves, it seems, even if it involves cheating and lying. So, be it. I donated dogs in the past to a major metro PD and US Customs ( I have evidence to prove this, also), but never again.
Not entirely their fault, of course.. They are only as stupid as the average person, and the average person is deceived by "animal rights" lies and activism, so.. I just expected a little more, you know, than a Joe SixPack mentality and gullibility from law enforcement and prosecutors who have been told that breeders are evil (Why? So that AR / rescue people can hog the pet market and bury their private sector competition?)
In case people haven't figured it out, yet, the "humane" industry is just an impound industry (like auto impound), taking and selling private property on any pretense they can. Also, in case no one has figured it out, yet, this list is infested with animal rights legal / propaganda activists.
I never said I was totally without fault.. I NEVER said that. But, I say their case was not so righteous. It is too easy to lie, fabricate / tamper with / suppress evidence. You are guilty until YOU prove yourself innocent, and that is not the responsibility of anyone but the defendant and their lawyers. The truth matters for nothing in a court of law, unless you have the kind of money it takes (a lot) to stay the course for perhaps months to get it out in court, eventually. It generally isn't worth it, if you can take a plea. That's why people take pleas, and that's why prosecutors offer pleas, because they are not always so motivated or comfortable with their case.
Interesting new development in the news.. An appeals court overturned the Federal conviction of a man who wore all sort of military medals he didn't earn and told war stories that were fabricated, based on First Ammendment rights.. So, it's OK to lie.. It's called "Free Speech". I could be lying, or Sock Puppet could be lying or Schaferhunden, or the reporter who wrote that story, based on allegations made by a public employee, all of which is protected under "qualified immunity" clauses. There is nothing anyone can do about it.. We are free to lie, at will! I guess that means that we are also free to believe in lies. And, we do.. all the time? So, I hope that there is a God (and I believe that there is!) because He / It is eternal, immutable truth, and knows all.. I can't speak for Him, but personally, I believe that God does not love a
