I'd second the Canidae All Life Stages, as well.
The grain content is low, and derived from quality sources, and the food is primarily meat-based.

I nearly lost a pup to Royal Canin, avoid it like the plague. Orijen is my favorite, but difficult to find around here, I have backed away from Evo since their purchase by the Iams company (Unilever?) but still have good to fair results from Canidae ALS, my dogs coats are not as nice as they were on Orijen & Evo, & I have to feed a lot more to keep weight on Beckett, but they are healthy, energetic, with good firm stools. (But I must say, my daughter feeds her 2 1/2 year old male grocery store crap, & he looks terrific. Kind of annoys me......!) Hope that helps! jackie harris
