Kimmelot

Sorry Tarakallam :( I only read that the dog was in a kennel.. I did not see anything explaining that the dog was taken out for several hours a day.. Considering you ruled that out , I guess he is not a good boy at all. Next time explain what and how you keep your dogs so people like me dont make an ass out of themselfs guessing what the hell went wrong.

Kimmelot- I thought exercising a dog for some hours everyday is a normal matter that shouldn't be explained. However next time I would do that specially for you.

Maybe Tarek can sort out that awful thread. On the other hand, Tarek shouldn't be soiled by that garbage.

Tarek, so sorry that your dreams for Good Boy didn't come true. What a disappointment.

Aww Tarek,
I am sorry to hear that disappointing news too.
I would have done the same thing in sending him back, having kids myself.
I have considered puchasing older dogs in the past but I am afraid of the risk. Hope your kennel guy feels better soon

Tarek
Sorry it did not work out as you expected, But you did the right thing sending him back you cannot risk him being there where you have a wife and children , It was a tall order from the beginning and i was not too happy at the ourcome, But you gave it a go and did the right thing by sending him back, Hope the Kennel Guy recovers okay without and bad thoughts against the breed as a whole, You sound like a very responsible Guy

Sorry that it didn't work out so well with him Tarek, but you know you did the right thing.

I once kept a dog longer than I should have, trying to give him a chance (basically in denial of his problems), but I nearly ended up mauled and one of my children as well. It was very disappointing, as I really liked him and wanted him to work out...but he had a screw loose.

Ouch not a good situation. I had a big GSD that was bording with me and my girls went in to heat. He changed and ended up being aggressive towards me.Good thing it had some obedience to get him back in the kennel after running about in the fenced in yard. I had a hard time for 3 weeks while his owners were out of town. All the dogs wee on edge cause they knew he wasn't nice. At least you were able to send Good Boy back!!!  That is a stressful situation for sure. Glad no one got seriously hurt.

To All my good friends above thanks for sympathizing with me.

Now I am really convinced that It was a wise decision to send the dog back home. I was informed by my clearing agent that he repeated the same aggressive actions towards several people i.e. cutoms officials, vets etc... prior to being shipped on board the flight. I think what he did with the kennel boy was just the spark to continue aggression towards any stranger. I am sad since I tried to help that friend of mine & also since during the 1 year I kept this dog for we really had a special relation together which I wanted to repeat for a while.

Anyway since you joined me the details of the story from the beginning, I wanted you all to share with me the end even if it is a bad one.

Regards

Tarek Allam
