GSDguy08- That is a thought. Where I use to live before if Dar and Cactus would hear them they didn't howl until I got Zane.He howls at them and the other 2 chime in. There I lived in IL Dar never bothered with them till the female I had(territorial) howled at them and so did the pups they had. So it is kind of interesting that Dar only does it when there is someone else that leads. He is a laid back dog as in not dog aggressive unless provoced. Why I haven't let the 2 GSDs together yet.The other is very dog/animal aggressive. He is territorial as well...more so then Dar. Thanks for bringing it up.I never really cared or through about why they do it.I more so realize why they are aggressive to certain people like my roommate. lol

Pharaoh

I have no idea if there are bands of coyotes at my new house.  It is about on top of the ridge.  There are lots of deer wandering around.

It is now officially mine as of this morning.  Tomorrow night will be the first night that I sleep there.  There are no houses behind my house, just some open acres with nothing on it and a road and more empty acres.

The first improvement I will make is a sturdy fence.

So, for now, I will not let Pharaoh loose at night.

YEAH!!! Michele!!! Happy for you to finally be in your new home!!! Hope you and Pharaoh are happy there. A fence is a good thing. With having a black dog it is hard to see them at night. Better send some new pics of the new pad.

Well the coyote were out today. There was a siren going by and at the foot hill of the mountain behind the place I am at I heard a yelp.I was out walking my dog Zane and he looked towards the area and stoped.I couldn't pull him away till the yapping stoped. I am not use to hearing them at night. Don't think I will hear them tonight cause I am at my client's and they are in an area with alot of houses. Rather be in a blace with bears. At least they are quiet.lol

Added: Ok I spoke too soon.As I was typing this I heard something so I turned the tv dwn and what do ya know the coyote are howling. Glad my dogs are being quiet ...so far....or not.Dar just let out a big bark. Just waiting for them all to start howling. The neighbors are going to love me being here.lol
