Ibrahim,

Perhaps you can use OFA for hip and elbow certification..

You might want to contact them.  www.offa.org/contacts.html

They will do a preliminary at twelve months and a final certification at 24 months.  At the final they send it out to three different radiologists and take the majority opinion.  They do not require AKC registration.  They will evaluate a mutt so they certainly could help out with your specific issues.

Your dogs have either Czech or SV or FCI or some type of registration papers and they probably are tatooed.

They would then be a part of the OFA database.

Michele,

Yes some have SV pink papers and some have FCI export papers, all Tattood. Do they accept x-ray taken by a vet here? If they do that would be the best news I heard since long time.

Thanks, waiting for your answer

I am then a very lucky Person to have all the facilities we have over here in Belgium, I carry on saying what we can and cannot do, not realizing other People like yourself with a great love of these Dogs have little in comparison to what i have regarding Training Clubs, Help and easy reach of Top Breeders and being able to watch top Dogs and Handlers working
It is most humbling when you tell us how little you have where you live in comparison to what we have It really brings it home how lucky i really am

Yes Steve1,

You are lucky really, I follow up on your descriptions of what you've done at training club and what you've watched and I say to myself how lucky you are, I even start imagining how things went on based on the words you use. The other day when you described what went on in training at the (Police school) I found that so interesting, I even imagined the trainers and the dogs.
I wish I can some day make it to Germany and attend a Sieger show.

Tonight we were at a Show Club, first i did the BH routine with Izzy, then took her over the Meter jump but three quarters height, which she can jump from just standing there but there is time for her to go over the full height in a month or two She retrieved the Block from the other side and jumped back over with it and also the same with the Block on the A Frame
Regards her send away i do not yet get her to go down from the full distance But my brother takes the ball holds it out and i send her up full distance she brings it back and sits in front with the ball  on a short send away i down her once she has the ball, Other than getting her long down off leash 100% she is easily ready for her BH  but cannot take it until beginning of September when she will be old enough, In the meantime i will take her for a social test when one is available, it will do her a lot of good
The reason for taking her to a Show club once a week is to get her used to going round the Ring Posing and getting used to being handled by other people Judges, looking at her teeth and Measuring her height of which tonight she was 46cms high, When she has turned one year old i will get her into a show to get a G or SG rating then when she gets her ScH1 i will get her Korclassed
Funny thng is there is such a show this coming Thursday I did inquire about entering her in it, they asked her age and said she was not one year old, She missed it by two days her birthday is two days after the Show but they said she could not enter, so they are a stickler for the Rules which is good
Tomorrow night at the club we are going to put her through the routine of the Social test so she will be ready when the time comes

Steve1,

That is so interesting. I think you meant her height is 56 cms not 46 cms as she is a tall girl, right?

Let's hope when she gets older that age thing works in her favor.   I wish I was a fly on the wall when you are going round the ring. I imagine you two being quite impressive, yet adorable.

I am so happy indeed, they sent me the form, I shall show it to the vet to make sure he can do it as per their terms. Wow.

Yes, you are correct 56cms I only type with one finger i hit the 4 instead of 5 but i had not noticed, However she is well within the height limit for a Female so that should not be a problem She will not grow another 4cms i do not think she will be one year old this Saturday
Beetree
I find it a lot of Fun, a Young leggy young Girl said to me last night after we had been running round a few times and i was trying to get her to stand she said if i get tired she would take over Izzy for me, I said thank you very much, and i will keep it in mind when i fall over, I will know who to ask if my right ankle gives way on me which it sometimes does

Ibrahim,

That is sooooooo fantastic!!!!!

All your vet will have to do is follow the instructions for proper positioning.

I think you should start a thread about good OFA positioning.  Many of the posters here have examples of good positioning and could post their xrays.  You could share that with your veterinarian.

Also, posters could share with you bad positioning and what was wrong with it.

I think I would learn a lot from that.

Michele
