My present puppy weighed 8.8lbs at 7 weeks old,( she was the smallest of the litter ) and at 12 weeks she was 23.9lbs.
In a few weeks time you will be wondering why you were so worried about his weight
Enjoy him, soon you will be wearing those expensive designer jeans, You know the big brand ones that already have holes in the legs, you will be very fashionable

Pharaoh weighed 18 pounds at 8 weeks. Now he is slim 90 pounds.

Update:
Visited the vet on Tues. At 13 weeks, three days, the black and tan girl in the above picture weighs in at 33lbs. I was surprised because she looks very thin. Mom and dad are both about 75 pounds.
