Yeah, that's one instance. My point was that they can be right here and talk like they love dogs...and then you find out the truth. It's scary, is all. I wasn't aware at first of it, but it was brought to my attention a while back.

 Jenni,

My apologies because I had actually forgotten who this person was. I did not recognize the screen name. But yes, I actually have direct knowledge of that situation as I saw a dog in the situation....something like 64 dogs or so were seized in absolutely deplorable condition. And the individual has the gall to continue to claim that it was all about animal rights activists and other conspirators trying to turn the situation. It was not. In all my years of doing GSD work, I NEVER saw a dog in such deplorable condition as the one I ended up getting. The sad thing is that there are so many here who do not know about this.

No apology needed.

They are right here among us, and look at all the people falling for the b.s.

And I get slandered by one and the same- for being too selective w/my dog's reproduction- I was actually called a hoarder. LMAO. Talk about gall! She stepped into my innocent website thread and took it in a really twisted direction. I ignored it as long as I could, but I will not have some headcase bashing my dog. Call me overprotective- that would be an understatement!

Since I do NOT have direct, firsthand knowledge and did not see any of the dogs, I chose not to blow this person out of the water so to speak and publish her name. But I certainly chose to cease all contact immediately upon finding out, and for that decision, I  end up being dragged through the mud in a pitiful attempt at cyber revenge. It took great restraint to keep my mouth shut on the other thread, but it's obvious the person isn't of sound mind and my greatest wish is that they forget I exist entirely, and my dog, too. I have zero interest in continuing to be a focus of an unsound mind. You simply cannot trust obsessive crazies with vendettas.

As I said, your intent went right over my head the first time. But now I understand what you are saying. I did have direct knowledge of the situation although I did not exactly understand what was going on and about to happen and the situation was as described in the link above. It is a long story as to how that all came about. Suffice it to say, I did not see what happened here to you on the PDB (I am assuming you are talking about a thread here? If so, PM me the link as I would like to read it) and I had forgotten, as I said, who this person was. But it won't happen again that cyber revenge goes on without some of us (there are others and some have the actual court documents) will get involved.

Hodie and Jen,
during the past few weeks, I was tempted a few times to call that person out, as I did a while back when she had posted something which really got me going. But I decided that it is not worth it. Most people do not care anyway. Just look at all the farewell wishers. They think it is just another person leaving due to being sick and tired of harrassment, but I think some of us know the real reason for the departure. It is this thread actually. Wanna bet?
I do not want to come across as being all high and mighty. Nobody is, but there is one thing I can not accuse and that is neglect and leaving animals in such deplorable conditions. These dogs depend on us for food, shelter and comfort. What a breach of trust that is and to top it off, blaming it on animal control not helping when she realized that caring for 64 animals was too much.
I have decided two or three years ago, when I first learned about this incident to ignore that poster totally. She does not exist for me and is not worth my time.
If you want to read more, go and search for that "Boban vom Grauen Monstab" thread in 2007, page 4. 'nough said!

Edited to add: Jen, I would like a link too. Since I usually only selectively read on here, that went past me as well.

No real reason to PM it- it's already on the forum, hardly a secret.

Well holy sh!t.

 Silbersee,

This is one time where I wish you would have smacked me in the head to pay attention to some thread. Often I skip certain threads. Had I known, I too would have been all over this. And yes, you are EXACTLY right about the reason for her leaving. As I said to Jenni, I was directly involved and to this day, it was the worst condition I have ever seen a dog in, barring one rescue years ago that was found stray. There is and can never be any excuse for what was done. Sadly, there are new allegations surfacing that a similar situation exists again. I hope not, but I would not be surprised.

Anyway, I am sorry for what Jenni went through and had I known, I would have spoken up as I am now doing. Everyone who reads this forum or any dog related forum should know and remember this situation.

I am now very concerned about the 82-year old  in that person's care.  Somebody totally dependant on that person for help.        I thought that user name sounded very very familier.......

Well, it's too damn hot to do anything with the lawn, right now.. Anyway.. I had to change a diaper. I kid you, NOT! It SMELLS like I've been working on the lawn and already spread the fertilizer!!! I don't get to change a little diaper.. I get to change a BIG diaper on a red, wrinkled, 82 year old ass.. Not much fun, but I keep the room freshener handy!..
