After a group training session my husband and I took my 22 month GSD Benedict and his 14 month Borzo, Jake i to a dog park. We usually avoid dog parks but after having them on leash for a while decided it was safe to let them free. The other dogs and peope seemed to have never seen a Borzoi run! Benny kept tryong to herd him back! Love my husband telling his dog to slpw down!

Pfft! That borzoi was just getting warmed up!
I feel sorry for dogs like borzois and greyhounds that are bred to run, and often never get the chance to really open up, because they live in the city. I had a friend with an afghan hound, and if she didn't take the dog to the riding stable, and let it run loose in the fields, she had trouble getting it to eat. (Of course, she supervised it carefully, and only let it run free with her own horses.)
