If you remember Mia is the pup that had a broken leg due to a volunteer at the shelter. Well her leg has healed 100%. I had her evaluated by my TD for schutzhund and he found her to have slightly weaks nerves with the tendancy of being sharp. her grips are full and calm. Mia can do schutzhund but with someone that has experience in the sport. Mia is a natural at tracking and is progressing quickly in this phase. Mia should also excell in obedience and she is learning quickly in this phase also.

Mia loves her ball and over the top food drive. Mia is avail. for adoption but to an experienced handler only whether or not she does schutzhund. Mia needs a job and someone who will keep her line for she can be dominent and loves to push your buttons. As long as Mia is with me I will continue her training.

Here is a video of her doing some beginning obedience

She looks -and from what you say- sound like a wonderful little girl. I cant believe someone would just drop her off at a shelter like that. Good thing you got her when you did, who knows who could have laid hands on her. There are just some bad people out there. I think you should keep her :), you have done so much for her already!

If not, I hope you can find a good working home for her. I sure wish I could take her... No, No, Andrea no more dogs! LOL!

P.S. the video link dident work for me. Ill try it again.

Just goes to show that not all rescue GSD's are junkyard dogs. She's a little beauty and Jettasmom is a wonderful person to care so much about a dog she didn't breed.

I would love to keep her myself but my female will not tolerate another dog in the house. That means seperate walks, shared house time. I need to do what is best and that is finding the right home for Mia.

Andrea, Mia was born at the shelter. Her mom was picked up as a stray and had 13 pups.
