Frank, I think he is not "overdone". The neck and head carriage are nice, and the skull is not too bulky. I think he is not so angulated, and is pulled very far for the picture. Nice dog, in my opinion.

I sure hope he's posed incorrectly because the carriage of his rear looks terrible.
But then I don't understand what is so "beautiful" about a GSD that looks like a dog in front and a frog in the rear.
