HOT HGH & SCH question ???? - Page 1

Does anyone know if there are any HOT GSD's with both HGH and Sch titles that were born, bred, and owned in the US? Thanks!!

Blitzen .. I do not know about HOT .. if you mean the Hot , hardest biting and hitting compitions here in the USA ., Most of those dogs that score high ... you would not want. Most are kenneld they come out , work and go back . ! All my Va 1 progeny worked extremely well , one my Jeck Noricum and Lasso v. Neuenberg grandson had enough hardness, aggresssion but exremely socialbe that he could handle personal protection /Sch / and ring sport. But getting back to your post . My friend Maren , most of the GSD folk are familiar with her and her Galaxy , who even in Germany Placed V2 in the HGH Seiger Show class . the first American born , bred , & owned to have HGH and Sch3 to place in Germany . The SV judgers even remarkewd at his accomplishments and overall strucutre ans show qualities . I think he also placed V1 in this country too. Great dog . IMO deserved Va 1 because IMO in the Seiger show in this counrty way to often the behavioral traitsd are overlooked for the flashy look and gait. 50% nof a canine is the inside [innate abilities and traits ] as well as to the [phenotypic expression] , the outside! . I have seen ... and I am sure many others Sch 3 GSDs worth nothing !Had a friend spend 10,000. on a Sch 3 once and her ex-husband broke into the house and the dog just looked at him . She was lucky she didn't gethurt. But a GSD with HGH and Sch 3 --- how can you not but admire it !!

Alphapup H.O.T. means handler owned and trained

Hi Blitzen, To my knowledge, at this time, there is one male dog owned trained and handled by Kristin Siarkowicz, Abel vom Quasliner Moor, HGH, SchH3. What an unbelievable team. But this dog has done much more: UD, AX MXJ NATCH HXC and 7 X HGH. And of course the newly titled HGH, SchH1 HOT Berta vom Qualiner Moor, HGH, SchH1. She is most likely the only female in this country carrying both a HGH and SchH title. Hats off to her owner and handler, Daphne. There is always more to strive for, but these dedicated people in the sport of titling and showing their dogs are simply AWESOME. I am glad you brought this up because with all the hoopla of the USA Siegershow, one realizes it is just a drop in the bucket compared with the achievements of these people and there partners, the GSD.

thanks DonC" for clarifying that .. here in New England that abbreviation in the dog world means the tough dog competition !! and they do mean tough !!most make a police tact unit canine seem meek !! . Many dogs from french and begium ring sports are enteredinto the HOT competitions. french and belgium is quite popular around here . as a matter of fact Sch is now obselete and unforunately almost non existing here. seems once dog sport enthudsiasts see and get invloved with them .. there is no gravitating back to Sch.

Alpopup I don't know why you need a tough dog. Seems to me, you are abrasive enough. The heading is HOT HGH & SCH. I was merely informing you what he/she meant. Why do you get so defensive about your sport of choice? I wasn't aware of any sch people knocking your "New England tough dog compotition". I don't understand why people feel the need to criticize what others do. Why do you care if someone does anything. They're not asking you to join them. You were probably the biggest homophobe, all the while cross-dressing in your mothers clothes while they went out for a saturday night out without the kids. A lot of people choose Sch because of their location. Why would someone with limited time join a sport without clubs or trials in their area?

Don Corleone -- you really have an attitude!! I was merely stating what HOT means in New England ..and to some here HOT , as writtern in the initial post, was ambiguous. as a matter of fact i was not critisizing Sch .. but to give a bit of history as to why HOT means what is does and why once Sch people here would have thought HOT tpo be the same as I thought. -- and if you read my post.. I clearly stated that one does not need a dog [ HOT ] like that, I alluded to my Showline GSD that could personal protect and that implied is sufficient. And if you were well experienced - the reason that Sch 3 dogs not always but generally fall apart when it comes to protection [ and I am not opposed to the type of training ] is that the dogs are taught that it is a game to grab hold of the sleeve .. no different than a ball or a tug. the agression is not directed to an individual .. IMO that is not all bad . ---secondly many a GSDs are trained on the same field , in the same fashion , with the same helper.. even my Sch dogs .. day 1 doing bite work everywhere , anytime , with any object and with a number of difernet helpers. .. but then again PROTECTION .. should mean .. Protection ... as if your life depended upon the dog .. I don't demean people ..but I am a straight shooter .. call a thing what it is .. Sch 3 does not mean a great GSD who protects always. I direct my posts to issues... BTW your surname could be casted as offensive .. i don't think a capo di tutti capo , at least the ones I heard of , would brag with such a name as Don Corleone .. even if he where an origial ! I would have been very happy to on a friendly note to converse with you in depth to throw further light on my posts ...any of my posts .. and it would be up to you to take the info and use or ignore it. but your posts have always been hostile to me. Thanks for the information on Abel, Sunshine. He must be a wonderful dog. Interesting that both he and Berta are from Ulf Kinzel's breeding. Alpha pup, sorry for the confusion. I am one of those goofy AKC people who thought that HOT always meant handler owner trained. LOL.

Alphapup I appreciate your gesture, but I think I'll stick to knowledgable sources for help with training. You are probably right about my attitude. To clarify, I would like to point out that you are the only person I have conflicts with on this messageboard. If you read my posts, I try to give people an honest reply, which they can take it or leave it. I don't go on threads to knock people and their beliefs. I merely pointed out in a Sch thread, H.O.T. means handler owned and trained. You immediately get bent out of shape, probably because of our earlier discussions. I think you took my tone the wrong way. Which is common on the computer. If I would have said that H.O.T. means handler owned and trained you dumbace, then you probably would have had the right reaction. To clarify, I don't know too many people that train in SchH who truly think that they are doing street worthy protection. Most of the people I know see it as training and nothing more. These people enjoy tracking and obedience as well as seeing a powerful dog, full of life, run six blinds and have control in, dare I say it, protection. Not everyone feels the need to be protected by their dog. Take the showlines for example. I'm not going to go on their sieger thread because I don't totally agree with them. I am man enough to give my advise when appropriate and shut my mouth when it is not needed. As to the surnameI have chosen, what the he77 is the point. It is a fictitious movie from 1972. It is my favorite movie and nothing else. This nonsense about capos and bragging is hilarious. Come down out of the clouds. You have chosen Alphapup. Get over it! It is just a name, nothing more. Hey Alphapup. Do you have a website which describes your new sport? Sounds like lots of fun. I've spoken with a couple of people who described dogs as being "hot" -- a super drivey over the top aggressive non-stop dog in protection that only a hard core trainer could love. I want to be a BHOT-- Breeder Handler Owner Trainer. :-) Veronica
