The DM registry allows you to post about health problems other than DM, so I'm wondering if she just combined the two registries, and if you could post about a dog that doesn't have DM but has other health issues?
Anyone been in contact with her?

It's been 9 months since she was last here but she doesn't post on a regular basis.

Yeah I looked that up, too, mr.darcy.
I think she got really disappointed when the GSDCA showed no interest in either her DM registry, or the GSD Betterment Registry.
I hope she hasn't given up completely - the breed NEEDS people like her who are willing to expose the genetic problems others are trying to cover up!
Not long after I joined this board, I found out a former president of the GSDCA, who had also signed the GSD breeder's Code of Ethics, ripped one of the posters here a new one for posting about the issues her dog had in Marjorie's registry. He was the breeder of the dog, and had given her ZERO help when she phone him and asked about the dog's issues. They were so bad the dog had to be euthanized at a very young age.
And you can be sure this sort of crap is still going on, and being swept under the rug... :'(
And the breeders keep breeding the affected dogs!

I did manage to find a FB page, and am hoping to see there's maybe some activity there. Many people have abandoned their dog websites these days in favour of FB.

Was very relieved to find she's alive and kicking, and still trying to help rescue shepherds! :D

Okay, as a result of me contacting Marjorie, a small miracle has happened. I told her about a way she could possibly restore the GSDBBR from a backup site on the web.
Aaaand, it turned out Jack Flash's DM site was NOT hacked, it just seemed that way because she was used to accessing it from the other site, which had been hacked! Here it is, still pretty much intact, except for the section on food choices! http://www.mzjf.info/main.htm*
Marjorie was SO overjoyed, she told me she cried!
She has since contacted her webmaster and the man that did the coding, and there is a pretty good chance both sites can be fully restored.
The kicker is - this is going to take time, effort, and money. And before she makes the decision to do this, she wants to make sure there is enough interest to make it all worthwhile.
I, for one, think it is. It would be great to know where these problems that plague our breed are coming from, and to stop the breeders from lying about it and covering it up. To many of them, ribbons in the show ring, followed by stud fees and puppy sales matter much more than the health of their dogs. And when the resulting pups are unhealthy, far too many turn their backs on the poor owners, who are spending thousands of dollars to keep their dogs alive!
Let me know what you think, and PM me if you have a breeder horror story that's too sensitive to post!
Would you use this site or the Dm site, if they were restored?
*Okay, the DM site needs updating, and Marjorie has promised me those darn midi files will be the first thing to go!
