How do I add ancestors on the pedigree? - Page 1

The parents of the dog is not on here. The grandparents are. The grandfather of the dog is the only one I was able to search and add. Please help!

OP you are not talking about 'Ancestors', you are talking about PARENTS. No dog gets on PDB by 'magic', they have to have their details entered. Presumably the owner(s) of your dog's Sire and Dam did not bother to do so (or they attempted to, but did not give sufficient information ?). You might find something under the 'Progeny' buttons on the grandparents' pedigree details, if there were dogs of any merit in the litters they produced which were recorded - but otherwise you'll need to put in the names & numbers from the paperwork.

For which I believe, these days, you might need to ask the permission of the Admins - unless you ARE that owner of sire &/or dam.

If the parents are not in the PDB you need to add them.

Dogs do need breed book and registration numbers when entered.
