I have heard the co-authors do interviews several times.  The book should be a very interesting & factual read.

Actually we still are part of theirs. Thinking we are a free & independent nation is not quite so right.  Your birth certificate marks you as owned chattel.  Look at our legal BAR system. It is actually the British Accreditation Registry. And holy cheetos to any atty that uses Esquire. We also openly practice Admiralty law -look at the fringe upon the flag people & you will know which set of law you are being mandated under. 

Yawn ! Surely nothing to have stopped your various Governments from sorting all that out via legislation / Amendments along the way, has there been ? Isn't the test, really, whether the UK tries to use any of those old connections, or not ? If it is felt that these 'hangovers' are negative, nobody is stopping you alerting your representatives and campaigning to change the situation.
