So after the sudden passing of my sport dog just a few months ago, I finally decided it was time to pick back up and start again.
I’m supposed to be getting a Mal x, from a friend out of some nice KNPV lines, and have figured maybe I would get into APA since there’s a club just 45 mins from me. I normally train IGP and would also like to continue that as well.
Would I be able to do both the sleeve sport and the suit sport without issue?
I know some people don’t recommend it and I know others say it depends on the dog. Of course I won’t even know until I assess the litter if I have a good prospect, but just thinking in advance and trying to plan.
I’d love to here peoples thoughts and experiences, thanks

yes, it shouldn't be an issue. My dog was on both sleeve and suit. There are also Rinsport dogs out there that are on legbites and do IGP. There is a local dog that just titled in Ring2 and then went on to go to the IPO Regionals and placed 5th. Super nice dog.
Dogs can easily distinguish between sports and what sport they do. :)

Awesome! Thanks for the response.
I love IGP and could never give it up but definitely want to try my hand at something new, so this is super reassuring
